Mary Arden's Farm

At Wilmcote C of E Primary School, we believe in the power of community and the importance of preserving our rich heritage. That's why we're incredibly proud of our ongoing relationship with Mary Arden's Farm and the Shakespeare Birthplace Trust.

Our collaboration has blossomed into a truly enriching experience for everyone involved. We've had the pleasure of capturing the magic of Mary Arden's Farm through filming 'Will and Friends on the Farm'. A special online assembly used to launch the beginning of Shakespeare Week 2025. The project starred CBeebies presenters Ben Cajee and Joanna Adeyinka-Burford, Mary Arden Farm's own Will Shakespeare puppet and 6 of our school pupils.

Beyond the lens, we've actively participated in community events, fostering a strong connection between the farm, the school, and the wider Wilmcote area. Witnessing the children of Wilmcote Primary School immerse themselves in the farm's historical setting, learning about traditional crafts and rural life, has been truly inspiring. This partnership underscores our commitment to supporting educational initiatives and celebrating the historical significance of our local landmarks. We look forward to continuing this fruitful relationship and nurturing the seeds of knowledge for generations to come.
